The Susquehanna River Basin Commission is accepting comments through May 4 on a request by Constellation Energy to increase water withdrawals for the former Three Mile Island reactor being brought back online to serve Microsoft's proposed data center. The request is for an obscene 73.2 million gallons per day. This is just the water needed for TMI, not for the data center itself. And this is not the only data center proposal that would require water withdrawals from the Susquehanna River Basin. 

 

Katie Jones at Fractracker very kindly created a list identifying all of the data centers proposed, suspended, operating, or cancelled in the Basin at present.
