VISION

A clean, renewable energy future wherein our government upholds our constitutional right to a healthy environment and justice prevails. And that means ending fracking and shale gas infrastructure.

 

MISSION

We will build our power by bringing together like-minded people from across the state. We will mobilize, organize, collaborate, mentor, educate, and raise awareness with integrity, respect, and transparency.

CORE VALUES

We believe all Pennsylvanians today and in future generations are entitled to a healthy environment and the protections provided in Article 1, Section 27 of the Pennsylvania constitution.

 

We believe we have an ethical obligation to seek an end to corporate and governmental greed, corruption, and collusion.

 

We believe we are all leaders and encourage our members to act on their ideas.

 

We believe that our actions must be strategic, disciplined, and include non-violent direct action.

 

EXPECTATIONS OF OUR MEMBERS

Must agree with the vision, mission, and core values of the Coalition.

Must be actively engaged in coalition actions and encourage others to participate.

 

EXPECTATIONS OF STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Must agree to participate in regular weekly calls, have a representative of your organization on the call in your absence, or follow and respond to notes if you don’t have someone who can attend in your absence.

 

The steering committee reserves the right to ask members to step down from the committee if necessary due to lack of regular participation or other issues that may arise. A two-thirds majority of voting members of the steering committee must agree to take that action.
